As we've been going through the countless images already released about this morning's Royal Wedding, we've been getting a little teary!
Starting with the To-Be's historic drive to Westminster Abbey, to each of their grand entrances into the cathedral, Kate's walk down the aisle, and the moment when Prince William turned to her and said "You look beautiful," we've turned to mush.
There's something to be said about the sense of tradition, the pomp and circumstance, and the witnessing of such a historical moment, that we can allow our typically cynical selves to get caught up in the whirlwind.
But what we really want to talk about here, let's be frank, is the dress and the hair.
As a salon, we're all in agreement that Kate fit her role perfectly as a princess on her wedding day. Her Alexander McQueen dress, designed by Sarah Burton, was beautiful. Traditional and reserved, it was elegant, magnificently tailored and will be timeless.
James Pryce and Richard Ward of London's Richard Ward Salon were the masterminds behind Kate's "demi-chignon". Their super secret trial sessions had to keep in mind the princess' borrowed Cartier tiara from Queen Elizabeth II.
